The blog is undergoing some cosmetic changes and at the moment there are some navigation links that may not be working and doesn't really fit in. The main and most noticeable change is the use of a really awesome looking blogger template called Activity.Please bear with these inconvenient non-functioning links until the template is edited for a final layout. Meanwhile, most of the blog is fully functional and you would have no problems reading the previous posts. The facebook comments section is gone and now currently using the default blogger comment widget.

The main area of focus is the primary and secondary navigation bar. Currently working on a secondary navigation bar thats more in tune with and consolidated for the blog and its content.The blog has been long about 'Linux, politics and Maldives', and yet has been heavily biased in the number of articles towards Linux. The 'politics and Maldives' bit is also a bit confusing as I don't intend to write about international politics. My manifesto needs a change and thats what I would do here.
The Storm of Mort blog is about to make a huge departure from its original goal and interests. These changes are necessary to provide content thats both interesting and updated regularly. This huge departure can be seen as getting more broad with the subjects I used to cover. I used to cover Ubuntu related topics done few reviews for the same and have been calling this instances of my blogging as my 'Linux' related topics.

In a similar fashion, I covered one politics post and called instances of when my blog is about politics and maldives.Hence a change is required now.
My original motto of 'A blog about Linux, politics and Maldives' is no more. Now the motto is 'A blog about Open source, Maldives and Entertainment'. In the open source side of the blog, I would explore open source news for other OS's including my big nemesis, Windows, and Mac (if i happen to find any for Mac).
The Maldives part would cover everything about Maldives and Entertainment is going to b a whole new adventure for me. Next up, the biggest task in this change; finalising the primary and secondary navigation to reflect my motto. Once this task is completed and employed into the blog, i would consider a huge milestone has been reached in my lengthy fight to change the blog. But first, I have to break my fast.

Another and slow progress on the revamp. Its time to decide the navigation menusThe blog has two menus now, the primary menu which is the blogger official menu. This menu shows individual pages and isnt that important. It currently has the home tab
Additional pages to the primary navigation menu is going to be:-
1- Earn online!
This is an advertisement page, showing off chitika, adbrite, inboxdollar and bidvertiser refferal links. Possible other links as well. The idea is convincing others that its viable to earn online and make some money for myself on referral links. Its going to be a long page with lot of diagrams and charts, highlighting my earnings.
2- About
An about me page. Going to refine the existing 'About me page'. This about me page will be mostly career based. Civil engineering related.
3- Adverts
Only adverts. Nothing else. No fancy diagrams, no explaining text and passages. Some few own advertisements as well.
The secondary navigation menu is tougher
The links in this menu reflects my mandate, and the look and feel of the blog is also based on this menu.
